Care instructions for your Aynaud timepieces
Preserving the Essence of Time
Every Aynaud watch is the result of exceptional watchmaking savoir-faire. To ensure the longevity, precision, and brilliance of your timepiece, we invite you to follow a few simple yet essential practices. Proper care not only preserves its value but also perpetuates the heritage it embodies.

To adjust the time on your watch:
Unscrew the crown by turning it counter-clockwise.
Pull the winding crown out to activate the setting mode.
Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the time.
Once the time is set, push the crown back in and screw it back in clockwise to secure the watch.
To preserve your watch's brilliance:
Use a micro-fiber cloth to gently clean the case, avoiding any risk of scratches.
Ensure the winding crown is pushed in completely after setting the time.
Full maintenance of the watch:
We recommend entrusting your watch to our approved Aynaud service center:
Every 3 years for regular maintenance.
Every 5 to 7 years for a complete overhaul of the mechanism.
Temperature :
Your watch is a precision mechanical instrument. Avoid:
Extreme temperatures (+60 °C, -0 °C).
Thermal shocks (saunas, steam rooms, hot showers).
Water resistance :
The Grand Largue model is water-resistant up to 10 ATM (100 m) in a dynamic environment.
However :
Always check that the crown is pushed in and screwed down before any contact with water.
Never manipulate the crown underwater.
Water resistance relies on seals that can wear down over time. If condensation appears under the glass, contact our service center immediately.
Damage related to inappropriate use or water is not covered by the warranty.
Protection :
After immersion in saltwater or chlorinated water :
We recommend gently cleaning your watch with a cloth soaked in lukewarm fresh water.
Avoid any contact with chemical products, solvents, or abrasives that could damage the case or the seals.
Magnetism :
Keep your watch away from electronic devices that generate magnetic fields (phones, computers, refrigerators). These fields can affect the watch's precision.
If necessary, have your watch inspected and demagnetized by an approved Aynaud watchmaker.
Vibraations and shocks :
Vibrations and impacts (golf, tennis, mountain biking) can damage the case or the mechanism.
This damage is not covered by the warranty.
Protect your Aynaud watch with these tips to ensure its brilliance and precision. For any further assistance or information, please contact our customer service.
